California High School Volleyball - Sotomayor can't hold off St. Monica
September 21, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90065 The St. Monica Mariners tipped the host Sotomayor Wolves volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mariners confront the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a Camino Real game, on Tuesday, September 24. St. Monica will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Paraclete (Lancaster, CA).
The Wolves (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Southern game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Elizabeth was tipped by St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
