The Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) football routed the host Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX), 69-2 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcat face the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 bout, on Friday, October 7. Byron Nelson will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Buffalos enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 62-0 league loss to Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX).
