Washington High School Football - Emerald Ridge knocks off Curtis

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) and the visiting Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA), observed Emerald Ridge's football squad thwart Curtis by a count of 42-13.

The Jaguars now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Kitsap for a 4A South Puget Sound contest on Friday, September 30. Emerald Ridge will play a Wolves squad coming off a 42-33 league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound contest, on Saturday, October 1. Curtis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 23-0 league loss to Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA).
