The Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) football edged the host Kentwood Conquerors (Covington, WA), 27-20 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bears face the Decatur Golden Gators (Federal Way, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound bout, on Friday, September 30. Tahoma will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Golden Gators enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 52-0 league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA).
