Michigan High School Soccer - Athens can't get by Grand Blanc
September 22, 2022: Troy, MI 48085 In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Grand Blanc Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Athens Red Hawks.
The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Saginaw, MI). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Heritage was nudged by Dow (Midland, MI), 5-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Red Hawks battle the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 27. Athens will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 1-1 non-league Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI).
