Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 23. Ryle will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Woodford County (Versailles, KY).

The Cougars now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elder for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22. Conner will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
