Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Riverton/Tri-City Hawks (Riverton, IL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Senators confront the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 23. Springfield will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Potters enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL).
