September 22, 2022: Elgin, IL 60123 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL) and the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), saw Elgin Academy's volleyball squad beat Larkin by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Elgin Academy upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 23. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Islamic Foundation lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Universal (Bridgeview, IL)
The Royals now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Fenton for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. Larkin will play a Bison squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Bison record now stands at 16-8.
