Washington, DC High School Volleyball - Friendship Tech Prep Academy edged by Thurgood Marshall Academy
September 22, 2022: Washington, DC 20020 The Thurgood Marshall Academy Warriors held off the visiting Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richard Wright Public Charter School for a PCSAA test on Friday, September 23. Thurgood Marshall Academy will confront a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Girls Global Academy (Washington, DC). The Trailblazers enter the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Girls Global Academy held off Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC), 2-1, in a league test.
