With the win, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 25-7 on the year. The Cardinals host North Clayton (College Park, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 22. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-6. North Clayton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Westlake (Atlanta, GA)
The Cherokees now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a 2A Area 2 outing on Saturday, September 24. Kendrick will face a Chargers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ola (McDonough, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 17-13.
