September 22, 2022: Langley, WA 98260 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA) and the visiting Mariner Marauders (Everett, WA), saw South Whidbey's volleyball squad beat Mariner by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, South Whidbey upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Falcons host Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA) to play the Cardinals in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Monday, September 26. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Seattle Academy won 3-1 in their recent league bout against University Prep (Seattle, WA)
The Marauders now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson for a 4A Wesco bout on Tuesday, September 27. Mariner will play a Timberwolves squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Issaquah (Issaquah, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-3.
