Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), 35-21 in a league test.

With the triumph, Derry improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA) to battle the Eagles in a WPIAL AA Allegheny test on Friday, September 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-4.

With the loss, Apollo Ridge drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Steel Valley (Munhall, PA) to battle the Ironmen in a WPIAL AA Allegheny test on Friday, September 29. The Ironmen come into the test with a record of 3-1. Steel Valley won 35-0 in their recent league test against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA)
