In their next game, the Panthers face the Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. Bigelow will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 49-12 non-league loss to Hoxie (Hoxie, AR).
With the loss, Mountainburg moves to 2-3 on the season. The Dragons host Decatur (Decatur, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a test on Thursday, September 28. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-0.
