In Friday's non-league game, the Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) football team smashed the visiting Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA), by a score of 41-0.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Turks come into the 1A Emerald Sound game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Sultan overwhelmed Sammamish (Bellevue, WA), 34-30, in a non-league game.

The Kodiaks now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quincy for a 1A Caribou Trail game on Friday, September 29. Cascade will battle a Jackrabbits team coming off a 45-0 non-league win over Brewster (Brewster, WA). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 2-2.
