In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Center Grove Trojans football squad scored a good 31-7 victory over the Lawrence Central Bears.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Pike Red Devils (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 29. Center Grove will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 23-6 league loss to Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN).

The Bears (2-4) will now prepare for their match against North Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Panthers enter the Metropolitan match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, North Central dropped by Carmel (Carmel, IN), 27-6, in a non-league match.
