The Largo Packers (Largo, FL) football edged the visiting Clearwater Tornadoes (Clearwater, FL), 27-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Packers face the Countryside Cougars (Clearwater, FL) in a 3M District 7 bout, on Friday, September 29. Largo will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 24-6 non-league loss to Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL).

The Tornadoes (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Dunedin (Dunedin, FL). The Falcons enter the 2M District 7 bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Dunedin was nudged by St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL), 42-7, in a non-league bout.
