September 22, 2023: Georgetown, KY The Great Crossing football team (Georgetown, KY), was beaten 30-17 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY)
The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Pulaski County gained a win over South Laurel (London, KY), 41-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the encounter the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a 6A District 6 contest, on Friday, October 6. Great Crossing will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 43-14 non-league win over Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY).
