Oregon High School Football - Irrigon drops to Toledo
September 22, 2023: Toledo, OR 97391 In Friday's non-league game, the Toledo Boomers (Toledo, OR) football team knocked off the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), by a score of 28-20.
The Boomers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Monroe (Monroe, OR). The Dragons come into the 2A Special District 2 (9 Man) game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Monroe toppled Oakridge (Oakridge, OR), 43-28, in a league game.
The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heppner for a 2A Special District 4 (9 Man) game on Friday, September 29. Irrigon will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to Lost River (Merrill, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
