In Friday's non-league match, the host Leon Lions football squad scored a close 30-26 victory over the St. John Paul II Panthers.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Lincoln Trojans (Tallahassee, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Leon will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record.

The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Wakulla (Crawfordville, FL). The War Eagles enter the non-league match with a 5-0 record.
