The Port Barre Red Devils walloped the visiting Mamou Demons football team by a count of 40-8 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Port Barre upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Northwest (Opelousas, LA) to confront the Raiders in a 3A District 4 outing on Friday, September 29. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Northwest lost 19-8 in their recent non-league outing against Eunice (Eunice, LA)

With the loss, Mamou moves to 0-4 on the season. The Demons host Church Point (Church Point, LA) to confront the Bears in a 3A District 4 outing on Thursday, September 28. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Church Point won 52-14 in their recent league outing against Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA)
