Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA), 26-23 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Moon Area improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to confront the Lions in a WPIAL AAAAA Allegheny Six test on Friday, September 29. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-3. South Fayette lost 14-7 in their recent non-league test against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA)

With the loss, Mars drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Fightin' planets host Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA) to confront the Golden Rams in a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny test on Friday, September 29. The Golden Rams come into the test with a record of 4-1. Highlands won 28-21 in their recent league test against Indiana (Indiana, PA)
