The Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting McDowell Trojans to 39 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Hartley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 29. Villa Angela-St. Joseph will play a Hawks squad coming off a 35-7 league loss to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
