September 22, 2023: Murray, IA 50174 The Murray Mustangs football team (Murray, IA), was knocked off 56-39 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA)
The Warhawks (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons come into the 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Lamoni knocked off Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA), 58-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lenox for a 8-Man District 8 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 29. Murray will meet a Tigers team coming off a 54-8 league win over East Union (Afton, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
