The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) and the visiting Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), observed Ovid-Elsie's football squad thwart Shepherd by a tally of 42-16.

The Marauders now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chesaning for a Mid-Michigan contest on Friday, September 29. Ovid-Elsie will play a Indians squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Indians record now stands at 4-1.
