Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), 14-7 in a league test.

With the triumph, Schuylkill Haven improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA) to battle the Rough Riders in a Colonial-Schuylkill - White test on Friday, September 29. The Rough Riders come into the test with a record of 3-2. Catasauqua lost 36-14 in their recent league battle against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA)

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - White battle, on Friday, September 29. Palisades will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 41-28 non-league loss to Minersville (Minersville, PA).
