The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Redlands Terriers (Redlands, CA) and the visiting Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), observed Redlands's football squad edge Poly by a count of 8-5.

The Terriers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Citrus Valley for a Citrus Belt outing on Friday, September 29. Redlands will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 35-24 non-league win over Ayala (Chino Hills, CA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Poly moves to 1-5 on the season. The Bears host Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a Sunbelt outing on Saturday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Paloma Valley lost 48-28 in their recent non-league outing against Orange Vista (Perris, CA)
