The Rider Raiders football team (Wichita Falls, TX), was tipped 21-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX)

The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brownwood (Brownwood, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Brownwood nipped Connally (Waco, TX), 31-28, in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A-2 Region I District 2 challenge on Thursday, October 5. Rider will meet a Cougars team coming off a 41-20 non-league loss to Permian (Odessa, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
