New Jersey High School Football - Somerville can't get by Union

Union Farmers (Union, NJ) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ), 13-10 in a league test.

With the triumph, Union improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Farmers host Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ) to confront the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, September 29. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 3-2. Hillsborough lost 56-0 in their recent league game against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ)

The Pioneers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Elizabeth for a Big Central - American Gold game on Friday, September 29. Somerville will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 21-19 league loss to St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-5.
