In Friday's league match, the host Vigor Wolves football squad scored a good 31-9 victory over the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Faith Academy Rams (Mobile, AL) in a 5A Region 1 match, on Friday, October 6. Vigor will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record.

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Elberta (Elberta, AL). The Warriors enter the 5A Region 1 match with a 1-3 record.
