Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Durfee tips New Bedford
September 22, 2023: Fall River, MA 02720 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) and the visiting New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), saw Durfee's volleyball squad nip New Bedford by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Durfee upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Taunton (Taunton, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Taunton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mansfield (Mansfield, MA)
The Whalers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset Berkley Regional for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28.
