The Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA) volleyball overcame the host Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA), 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Sun Valley upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Vanguards host Chichester (Boothwyn, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, September 25. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-1.

The Cougars now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Radnor for a Central outing on Wednesday, September 27. Springfield will play a Raptors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Raptors record now stands at 5-2.
