New York High School Soccer - Newtown nudges New Dorp
September 22, 2024: Elmhurst, NY 11373 The Newtown Pioneers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting New Dorp Central Cougars to 2 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Sunday.
The Pioneers now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league bout on Friday, September 27.
With the loss, New Dorp moves to 0-2 on the year. The Central cougars travel to Curtis (Staten Island, NY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Curtis won 7-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bayside (Bayside, NY)
