California High School Flag Football - Burton nudges University
September 22, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94134 In Monday's non-league match, the host Burton Pumas flag football squad scored a close 19-13 victory over the University Red Devils.
The Pumas (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Fighting Knights enter the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Hillsdale got by Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA), 38-19, in a league match.
Next up, the Red Devils play the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 24. University will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Giants go into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 28-8 league loss to San Marin (Novato, CA).
