September 22, 2025: Garfield Heights, OH 44125 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH) and the visiting Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH), saw Trinity's soccer squad knock off Wellington by a score of 3-1.
The Trojans (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Independence, OH). The Blue Devils go into the Chagrin Valley - Metro outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Independence by Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Dukes confront the Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH) in a Lorain County 8 test, on Saturday, September 27. Wellington will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH).
