September 22, 2025: Staunton, IL 62088 Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) boosters were content Monday as they observed their football squad nudge the visiting Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL), 2-0 in a league match.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Pana (Pana, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Pana tipped Gillespie (Gillespie, IL), 56-18, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cavaliers play the North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL) in a battle, on Monday, September 29. Carlinville will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
