Colorado High School Football - Pueblo County sneaks past Discovery Canyon
September 22, 2025: Pueblo, CO 81006 Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 16-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pueblo County improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Hornets host Coronado (El Paso, TX) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 13. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
The Thunder (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Banning Lewis Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Stallions go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
