Colorado High School Football - Elizabeth tops Weld Central
September 22, 2025: Elizabeth, CO 80107 The Elizabeth Cardinals football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Weld Central Rebels to 8 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27.
With the defeat, Weld Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO) to meet the Bluedevils in a test on Monday, October 6. The Bluedevils come into the test with a record of 1-2. Fort Lupton lost 30-6 in their recent non-league test against Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO)
