New Mexico High School Soccer - St. Pius X knocks off West Mesa
September 22, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) and the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw St. Pius X's soccer squad triumph over West Mesa by a count of 8-0.
The Sartans (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Valley was overwhelmed by West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 7-1, in a league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Del Norte for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. West Mesa will confront a Knights squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
