New York High School Soccer - Wayland-Cohocton nudges Honeoye
September 22, 2025: Honeoye, NY 14471 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY) and the host Honeoye Bulldogs (Honeoye, NY), saw Wayland-Cohocton's soccer squad hold off Honeoye by a count of 4-3.
The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Red Raiders enter the Livingston - Division I outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Hornell tipped Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Honeoye will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
