September 22, 2025: Buena Vista, VA 24416 The Amherst County Lancers were victorious over the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Lancers now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a Seminole bout on Tuesday, September 23. Amherst County will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Parry McCluer falls to 4-4 on the year. The Fighting blues travel to Craig County (New Castle, VA) to confront the Rockets in a Pioneer match on Tuesday, September 23.
