Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Penns Valley Area over Homer-Center

September 22, 2025: Spring Mills, PA 16875

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) and the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), saw Penns Valley Area's volleyball squad notch a victory over Homer-Center by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Penns Valley Area improves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Rams host Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to encounter the Mountaineers in a Laurel Highlands 1 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a record of 10-6. Philipsburg-Osceola won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Homer-Center will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to United (Armagh, PA).
