Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Slippery Rock improves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Rockets travel to Hickory (Hermitage, PA) to face the Hornets in a District 10 Region 3 test on Wednesday, September 24. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 3-2. Hickory lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Titusville (Titusville, PA)

The Oilers now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranberry Area for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Oil City will face a Berries squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA). The Berries record now stands at 2-2.
