Illinois High School Volleyball - Watseka can't get by Prairie Central
September 22, 2025: Watseka, IL 60970 Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Prairie Central advances its record to 11-8 on the season. The Hawks host Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL) to face the Saints in a Illini Prairie test on Thursday, September 25. The Saints go into the test with a record of 13-3. Bloomington Central Catholic won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Washington (Washington, IL)
The Warriors now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chrisman for a Vermilion Valley test on Tuesday, September 23. Watseka will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-5.
