Alabama High School Volleyball - Tuscaloosa Academy edged by University Charter
September 22, 2025: Tuscaloosa, AL 35406 University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Tuscaloosa Academy Knights (Tuscaloosa, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, University Charter improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Trail Blazers travel to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to meet the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 10-8. Sipsey Valley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Northside (Northport, AL)
Next, the Knights meet the Northside Rams (Northport, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Tuscaloosa Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 21-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL).
