North Carolina High School Football - South Brunswick drops to New Hanover
September 23, 2021: Wilmington, NC 28401 In Thursday's league game, the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) football team knocked off the visiting South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), by a final score of 54-33.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions come into the game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, North Brunswick toppled South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 26-6, in a non-league game.
The Cougars now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ashley for a game on Thursday, October 7.
