Tennessee High School Volleyball - University School of Jackson overwhelmed by Dyer County
September 23, 2021: Newbern, TN 38059 In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Dyer County Choctaws volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the University School of Jackson Bruins.
The Choctaws (25-7) will now prepare for their battle against Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 21-2 record. In their last bout, Briarcrest Christian notched a victory over St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN), 3-0, in a league bout.
The Bruins now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian Academy for a D II-A West 5 bout on Monday, September 27. University School of Jackson will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to First Assembly Christian (Cordova, TN). The Lions record now stands at 11-6.
