In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Fenton Bison volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Leyden Eagles.

The Bison (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Oak Forest nudged Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
