Maryland High School Football - Kent Island topples Cambridge-South Dorchester
September 23, 2022: Cambridge, MD 21613 The Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) football defeated the host Cambridge-South Dorchester Vikings (Cambridge, MD), 39-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Wicomico Indians (Salisbury, MD) in a Bayside 3A/2A bout, on Friday, September 30. Kent Island will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 13-12 league loss to Decatur (Berlin, MD).
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Kent County (Worton, MD). The Trojans enter the Bayside 1A bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Kent County lost by Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD), 46-26, in a non-league bout.
