September 23, 2022: Crossville, TN 38555 The Cumberland County Jets football team (Crossville, TN), was knocked off 21-10 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN)
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Meigs County (Decatur, TN). The Tigers come into the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Meigs County knocked off McMinn Central (Englewood, TN), 20-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Jets now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Stone Memorial for a 4A Region 4 challenge on Friday, September 30. Cumberland County will meet a Panthers team coming off a 44-7 non-league win over York Institute (Jamestown, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 6-0.
