The Hornets (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons come into the 2A District 3 game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Monroe County was dropped by Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 30-0, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Clinton County for a 2A District 3 game on Friday, September 30. Edmonson County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-12 league loss to Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.
